Travis Homer ’92

Howdy! My name is Travis Homer,  Class of 1992.  I grew up in Groom, Texas and attended Amarillo College and Texas A&M.  I’ve lived in Amarillo for 28 years and I currently work at the Pantex Plant for the last 14 years, as a Portfolio Manager in the Project Management Department.  I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Jennifer for 10 years.  I have a stepson James and two grandsons, Levi (8) and Karter (4).  I enjoy playing golf, snow skiing, scuba diving and traveling.  Beaches, music concerts or golf trips are the favorites.   My claim to fame is that I was the founder of Homer’s Backyard Ball, where we raised money for children’s charities in Amarillo for 20 years.

Howdy! My name is Vanessa McDonald. I am a proud member of the Class of 1998. I have lived in Bushland since 2006, and work as a Realtor for Lyons Realty.
I grew up as a farm girl in Anson. I met my husband, Allen (Class of 1998), in Aggieland. Before settling in Bushland, we lived in Manhattan, KS and Lincoln, NE, and Garden City, KS. I started my real estate career in 2000, and love helping folks with their ever changing housing needs.We have two awesome kids. Hays is a senior at Oklahoma State University. Bailey is a freshman at Texas A&M University (Class of 2028). In our spare time, I love to spend time with our kids and friends at the lake, attend Aggie & Poke sporting events, travel, & volunteer.

Howdy! My name is Leman Wall, Class of 1994. I was born and raised in Crowell, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelors in Animal Science and a masters in Equine Nutrition. I worked for the American Quarter Horse Association for 19 years and have currently been with the Working Ranch Cowboys Association as the Association Manager since 2016. I have an awesome daughter and son-in-law, Asheigh and Patrick Sheets and two future Aggie Grandsons, Brycen (8) and Colt (6). I enjoy all things Aggie sports, playing golf, snow skiing, hanging on the lake or cooking on the patio.

Sara Nickson ’04

Howdy! I’m Sara Nickson, a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2004. Born and raised in Canyon, TX, my parents knew I was all-in for Texas A&M after Fish Camp in the summer of 2000. I earned a finance degree and married my high school sweetheart, Scott (Class of ’04). After college, I worked in real estate and managed rental properties before we moved back to Amarillo in 2005. I currently work at Central Church of Christ. I love my community, cherish friendships, and adore being a mom to our daughter, Sydney (aspiring Class of ’30). In my free time, you’ll find me walking our neighborhood, grabbing coffee with friends, volunteering at Amarillo Little Theatre, scuba diving, and traveling. My favorite A&M memories include Aggie football games, Muster, and all the rich traditions that make Texas A&M the best college in the nation! Whoop!

Howdy! I was born and raised here in Amarillo, Texas. I received my undergraduate degree from West Texas A&M University and graduated with my Master’s in Education Technology from Texas A&M University in 2016. I have been in education for 11 years now and work for an online school. I am married to my fantastic husband, Patrick of 8 years, and we have two boys that keep us on our toes and traveling to many sporting events. I have a large creative hat, and we enjoy most sports and concerts! My husband is a huge Notre Dame fan, so next week will be interesting! Whoop! In my spare time I run my small business of creating jewelry and welding bracelets at Bomb Fusion Jewelry. I am excited to be able to grow this club and help future/current Aggies!

Howdy! My name is Brian Jones, Class of 1998! I was born in Lubbock and raised in Amarillo; graduating from Randall High School in 1994. I attended Texas A&M University and was a member of the Corps of Cadets (Co. G-2/K-2). I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design; I’ve since gone on to earn a Master’s in Public Administration and am completing a Master’s in Engineering. I’m married to Sunnye Jones ‘98; and I’m the father of Jack ‘24 (Sq. 1), Ben ‘27(Co. C-2), Sarah ‘28, Jennifer’32, Esther ‘35 and Oliver ‘38 -my hobbies are my children’s interests and trips to College Station! My day job is a Program Manager at Pantex. Gig em and God Bless!
